Music & Family

Music.
it's one of those things we can't live without.

The best part about music is the feeling it evokes from you. If your having a bad day hearing your favorite song can put you back in your favorite place. It's the best with the sun shining and driving with your windows rolled down, singing your favorite song. Regardless, no one could imagine life without music, sometimes the artist says the words your thinking better than you could.

The funny part that I have realized about music, is the person I automatically think of when I hear a specific song. One of these times is whenever I hear an old Train song, Drops of Jupiter. I immediately think of my daddy.

My Dad & I in Vegas

Family is so important, it is a strange thing how much we take for granted our parents (and siblings love you asapp) when we are with them everyday and the minute we move away from home or out of their house how much more we cherish the time spent with them.

I love my family and I wouldn't be where I am without them!

BRING MTV TO ASU!!

As most of you know I have been a on-air personality for an amazing college radio station at ASU. 90.5 WASU-- The App is an amazing station in which college students get real experience in working at a radio station in a business setting.

Last year before I  came to ASU, WASU won the Coulda Shoulda Woodie Award for 2nd place as the #1 college radio station in the U.S. This year we are up again for this award.

Currently, we are in the top 10 and this is our chance to win the best college radio station of the year in the United States. This is an honor that I believe WASU deserves. The staff, and help from Dan Vallie Hill has helped each of us improve as radio personalities as well as improve the station as a whole. WASU has been around for 40 years this year and many new changes have been done to the station. Each of these changes, I believe, has given us what we need to succeed in being the #1 college radio station.

We need YOUR HELP to win! So FB friends and blog friends please go online to http://www.mtv.com/ontv/woodieawards/2012/college-radio-woodie/
to vote for 90.5 WASU The App! You can vote as many times as you want and you don't have to be a student at ASU to vote! Tell your friends and your family and help everyone involved at WASU win this award that we have worked hard for!
